We are highly-trained, licensed,  new home builders and renovators who specialize in ICF (insulated concrete form) construction and radiant floor heating. Our key staff has over 30 years of combined experience in the insulated concrete form industry and we have all satisfied the rigorous demands of the training courses from the majority of ICF manufacturers.

We are Certified Insulated Concrete Form Builders, Certified R2000 builders, and certified by the Tarion New Home Warranty Program.

2. What do we do?

We help our valued clients choose the best option for their new home or building, in order to help them achieve their goals and realize their dreams. The process begins with an in-depth consultation in which our clients describe their goals and outline the things they would like to accomplish. We then present two or three of the best options available and allow our clients to choose the option that best fits their needs. Due to our experience, we save you money every step of the way.

We specialize in three main areas:

1. Assisting our valued clients in complete custom home construction – We turn ordinary house plans into highly crafted, energy saving, strong and secure homes.

2. We specialize in building with Insulated Concrete Forms; and prefer not to take on contracts that involve entirely wood-frame construction. We can  help if you are building your own ICF home, and need assistance. If you want, we will do only the insulated concrete form portion, at the same time guaranteeing you a job that is more reasonably priced than if you had attempted it yourself.

3. Additionally, we provide and sell home components that are hard to find, such as ICFs (Insulating Concrete Forms), SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels), Radiant Floor Heat, Solar Water Heating, Photovoltaic Solar Cells, Ultra-Efficient HVAC, Icynene Foam Insulation, 94% Efficient Hot Water On Demand Heater, and more...

3. Why do we do what we do?

Mostly, because we are passionate about this type of building and proud to leave a legacy behind. The structures that we build have a potential of lasting for hundreds of years, giving occupants a comfortable and healthy place to live.

Further more, you would not believe how satisfying is to say to your children: “Your daddy built that…”.

We also believe that owning a beautiful energy efficient home is extremely important to Canadian families for many reasons.

The process starts with a phone conversation in which we discuss your particular situation and your needs. Together we decide whether ICFhome.ca is the right company to handle your job. If we’re a good match for each other, great! If not, then we’d be happy to refer you to someone who may be a better fit for you and we part company as friends.

Once we decide that we’ll be a good match, one of our experienced consultants will work with you to help you find the best option for your needs.

Once you’ve decided on a course of action, we diligently handle the process from beginning to end, keeping you completely updated along the way.

Once the job is completed, the relationship doesn’t end! We will keep in touch with you by phone and emails, making sure you’re completely satisfied with our services and that nothing goes wrong with the job we have done for you.

Our "Double-Time Pledge" Warranty is very simple.

We take all the conditions in the "Construction Performance Guidelines" by Tarion (Ontario New Home Warrantee Program) and double the time allowances which apply to the length of warranty for applicable conditions. And we give it to you in writing. Do you know anyone that will mach that?

5. For whom have we done this?

The building consultants of ICFhome.ca have served over 200 families and businesses, helping with home building or renovating. We have built over 50 custom built homes in Southern Ontario all from Insulated Concrete Forms and most with radiant floor heating.

We have done numerous renovations, several farm and commercial projects with ICF - from Zagreb, Croatia to Calgary, Alberta.

6. What makes us different?

While there are some builders in Southern Ontario that build with ICFs and install radiant floor heating, there is no one with this much experience.

Our principal manager, Harvey Yurich, has over 30 years hands-on home construction experience that ranges from bathroom and kitchen remodeling, through commercial building to new home building. He is one of the pioneers of the ICF Industry in Ontario from its early stages through to the advanced modernization it has reached today.

Each of our key staff have at least seven years of Insulated Concrete Form home custom building experience and are trained in various fields of home building and renovating.
